Sept 7, 2016: Know Your Rights – A Forum on Religious Land Use Law

Please plan to attend a program on “Know Your Rights – A Forum on Religious Land Use Law” on Sep 7, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:30pm at Silver Spring Civic Center (1 Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring, MD).

Come learn about religious land use rights under federal law and possibly save hundreds of thousands of dollars as we continue to grow our community. One Montgomery County faith community alone incurred $800,000 (in permitting, fees, and costs of required property improvements to build a $1.3M building).  And even if we don’t plan to build again at any time, you owe it to your fellow faith communities to help them avoid unwarranted land use costs and delays.

To sign up, click here.  The event is free, food will be served, and there is no limit on the number of ZAMWI members who may attend.  However, please sign up by 9/2/16 so they know how much food and refreshments are needed.

This event has been organized by the Montgomery County Religious Land Use Working Group:  Rev. Ken Howard, Joseph Chang, Rev. Mansfield Kaseman, Dave Lambert, and Kersi Shroff
