Through the generosity and vision of the late Banoo D. Mobedjina, the Banoo D. Mobedjina Trust U/W (“Mobedjina Trust”) created the Banoo & Daraius Mobedjina Endowment Fund, which provided ZAMWI with total funding of $900,000 of which $600,000 in endowed funding has to be maintained at that level for the long term. The revenue from the fund will be used to advance educational scholarship, music, and the maintenance and operations of the Kamran Dar-e Mehr in support of the Washington Metropolitan region Zoroastrian Community.
